Cheeky Nephew: Commission

This commissioned hand-drawn original in soft pastel, 'Cheeky Nephew,' captures a wonderfully playful moment as this little one tried on some fluffy earmuffs. There’s such a mischievous charm to kids, and this piece really embodies that cheeky spirit.

For this portrait, the main challenge was definitely the hands. Hands are notoriously tricky to draw, and these were no exception, especially as his fingers are pointing in so many different directions. It took a lot of careful work to get the gesture just right, but I have to admit, I’m very happy with how the hands turned out!

Pastel art can be delicate, so to ensure commissions you receive are completely protected, they all come professionally framed. Artwork is ready to hang and includes anti-reflective glass. A certificate of authenticity signed by me is also included.
