Niece 1 & Niece 2: Commission

Niece 1 & Niece 2: Commission

I created 'Niece 1' and 'Niece 2' as a pair of hand-drawn originals in soft pastel. The aim was to capture the girls at their most fun.

I loved the technical challenge of these drawings. Trying to get the teeth right in those wide-mouthed happy expressions is always tough. I was particularly happy with the reflection on the lenses of Niece 1’s black frames…‘Niece 2’ has glassless frames!

Pastel art can be delicate, so to ensure commissions you receive are completely protected, they all come professionally framed. Artwork is ready to hang and includes anti-reflective glass. A certificate of authenticity signed by me is also included.
