Naaah! & Raaah!: Commission

Meet 'Naaah!' and 'Raaah!' – two hand-drawn originals in soft pastel that really capture the wild, wonderful extremes of childhood. I absolutely love that these aren't your typical 'school photo' shots; capturing both full-on energy and the completely crashed-out moments.

Getting these two to work as a cohesive pair was a brilliant challenge – it meant carefully adapting the colours and layout to ensure they complemented each other, despite their contrasting moods. I had a lot of fun bringing out those raw, genuine expressions. A little detail I'm particularly happy with is the subtle cast shadow across 'Naaah!'s face, adding depth and realism to that peaceful sleep.

Pastel art can be delicate, so to ensure commissions you receive are completely protected, they all come professionally framed. Artwork is ready to hang and includes anti-reflective glass. A certificate of authenticity signed by me is also included.
